About Train For Life Scotland. (Tom Robertson).

After serving twenty six years as a front line Paramedic with the Scottish Ambulance Service I retired and began training First Aid.

On January 2018 I decided to form my own training company TFL Scotland.

Prior to my career as a State Registered Paramedic I spent eight years with the British Army. The aim in all my courses is to equip people with the critical skills, knowledge and confidence to manage emergency situations in the home or workplace.

TFL Scotland make training fun and interesting. I believe that learning through enjoyment is key to remembering key skills. Using a diverse range of learning materials and resources to keep your workforce engaged, drawing on real life emergency experiences and scenarios helps  inject enthusiasm into every session.

I am more than aware that lives can be saved by the correct action in an emergency situation.

A highly experienced medical and emergency service professional who is passionate about providing top rate First Aid training. I guarantee to teach in a reassuring, engaging manner and tailor the course to your organisations needs.

All courses are aimed at empowering people with the skills and confidence to help in an emergency. The courses are competitive in cost. A one man business with no large training company overheads and you will be learning from a professional with a wealth of experience in the pre-hospital environment.

All courses are HSE compliant and accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).
